Progress on Saturday

My plan for today us to re-cut the boards into the exact shape want and attach them onto shelf. I brought all my materials to my friends place to work because the noise of circular saw is extreme disturbing in my apartment. Here's the materials:

These are original shelf and peg wood

On the right side of boards are wood bar that will support the entire shelf.

This is whole pack of peg wood hooks (47 pics, but I don't think I can use all of them)

Paint and hinges. (I actually bought brown and white color because I think these two color work pretty well on coloring furniture, but I ended up landing on white color.)

Electrical screw driver (since it's not going to be easy to use hand driver) and tool box.

Here is roughly what's going to be like after building:

I started working by screwing boards on the shelf:

Then I added wood bars on inner side of shelf to support both boards and shelf:

Next is attach rear side of board by screwing wood bars together.

This the whole view of shelf so far:

That is my progress till the end of the day. Tomorrow I will start working on front part of shelf and thinking about how to let light bulb be holding in the shelf.
